THE STARS
A race that helps persons with disabilities

College Church’s STARS program has enjoyed a long and vibrant ministry to individuals with disabilities and their families. Often the individuals and their families who go to summer camp discover their time at camp to be the highlight of the year. The camps are not only great fun for the individuals with disabilities, but also a much-needed break for the families that care for them.

This is an extremely popular program, and requests for scholarships cannot always be met. Run for the STARS allows more individuals with disabilties and their families to attend these camps.

Run for the Stars provided $25,000 in camp scholarships in 2007.
