Learn About Stars

Proceeds from Run For The Stars benefit the Stars disability ministry at College Church in Wheaton. According to the 2008 State of the States in Developmental Disabilities study by David Braddock of Colorado University, Illinois now ranks last in the nation in public spending to alleviate the needs of the disabled.

Specific programs include:

• Job training for people with disabilities
• Living arrangements for adults with developmental disabilities*
• Camps and retreats for families impacted by disabilities
